High capacity networks are needed for enormous quantity of internet traffic, which is driven by both the exponential growth number people using and ongoing introduction new high-bandwidth requiring applications. Combining optical wireless technologies a promising access network solution. The energy efficiency telecommunication therefore attracting increasing attention today than in past. This study aimed at evaluating optical-wireless combines Passive Optical Network (PON) Long Term Evolution - Advanced (LTE-A) into one. was designed Optimum Engineering Tool (OPNET) modeler software. It concluded that with application saving techniques combined network, substantial could be conserved even presence heavy traffic without compromising quality service
